1. Phase 1: Defending the winch. No side-quest here.
2. Phase 2:
NON-boss side-quest: Pillagers or civilians
BOSS side-quest: Either troll or sorcerer.
Another boss(Not a sidequest) but kill it real quick too.
3. Phase 3:
NON-boss side-quest: Thrice blown horn or Slaves at the pier.
BOSS sidequest: Archer or minstrel
Another boss Zagaroth: after the oathbreakers has joined the battle.
IMPORTANT things to do DURING the NON-boss side-quest in phase 2 and phase 3:
STOP firing the catapults.
NEVER aim the ballista at the enemy main army.
The TRIGGER for the boss to spawn is based on the number of enemy waves killed.
Therefore, slowing the mobs by removing the hooks will DELAY the BOSS side-quest.
This will give your team enough time to regroup and prepare for the boss.

1-2 Vanguards: Should be Rank 6 for maximum benefits
1 Officer: Rank 6/Buffer build is highly recommended here. Buff the soldiers ALWAYS.
There are many ways to do things and this is just one of them. So far, we have had all platinum run using this.
Assign roles for phase 2 when you are doing phase 1. Phase 1 is very easy, so you can discuss your tactics while doing this phase.
Set the Officer of the day and the mainquest people as Raid/Fellowship Assist Targets. This will help you target bosses easily plus you can monitor if they are removing the hooks muhahaha.

1. Phase 1: Split into 2 groups of 3 at the winch part.
Group 1: Vanguard+officer+engineer(trip wire user)
Engineer will put trip wire and the officer will drop a vanguard banner. Let the Vanguard do the killing. Officer and engineer will kill any mob that gets past the vanguard. This is to help the vanguard earn kill streaks
Group 2: 3 engineers. Just kill all the mobs.
2. Phase 2 Roles:
Fountain guard: Rank 5/6 engineer
Stay at the door near the fountain and kill the mobs that spawn there.
If you got heal skill, use them at the supplies/civilians.
Should you be needed for the boss fight, make sure that the supplies/civilians are in full health before you leave your post.
Ballista man: At least rank 4 engineer.
Build and upgrade the ARMOUR/speed/damage ONLY.
Aim the ballista in between the wooden fence and NOT at the enemy main army.
Multi-tasking: Firing while defending the ballista at the same time.
Never leave your position EVEN during boss fight. Unless instructed otherwise.
Officer:(set as RAT)
Focus on buffing the soldiers at all times(phases 2 and 3)
2H + Commanders
Hook removal as secondary priority.
Side quest soloist: Engineer(tripwire user)
Solo the side-quest, good dps is needed. Save your tripwire for the side-quest.
Main-quest Engineer:(set as RAT)
Put a wall of tripwire in between the wooden fence.
Remove hooks during the NON-boss side-quest.
Stay on the main quest, earn as many kill streaks as you can.
Remove hooks during the NON-boss side-quest.
BOSSes in phase 2:
Troll boss: Lure him to the aim of the ballista.
Sorcerer boss: It is hard to lure him. Just DPS on where he spawns.
Kangkethek: Lure him to the aim of the ballista.
Range DPS will stand to where the ballista is aimed at.
Melee DPS will start DPSing the boss while trying to lure them.(except for the sorcerer boss.)
After boss fight:
1 DPS and 1Healer run ASAP to the fountain to kill the mobs and HEAL supplies/civilians respectively.
3. Phase 3
Grab all the Barricades before you go and WAIT for your team mates. Don't rush in!
Let the vanguard do the killing to earn kill streaks.
a. Slaves at the pier SQ:
At LEAST 2 people will stay on the mainquest. 1 Officer and 1-2 engineers.
Sidequest group roles:
1-2 ESCORT: Keep the mobs from interrupting the rescuers. Give this role to the vanguard/Heavy Armours.
1-2 RESCUER: Free the slaves.
IMPORTANT:FREEINGthe slaves takes PRIORITY over killing the mobs. Freeing them real quick will guarantee a platinum.
TIP 101: 4 slaves are at the plaza up the stairs. 2 slaves below the Plaza.
TO AVOID having TWO SQ running together:
STOP the catapults, REMOVE the hooks when the NON-boss SQ is ongoing.
b. Thrice Blown Horn:
Vanguard/s will do this side-quest.
1 engineer just to put a tripwire on the spawn area then go back to the main quest.
Officer go and drop a banner and then go back to the main quest.
Boss fights on Phase 3:
All 6 of you will go DPS the boss.
No need to rely on the catapult, takes too much time to crank.
Heavy armours, keep the aggro away from the light armor classes.
Use POISON pot for the ARCHER boss.
